Public power utilities in the state of Indiana continue to reinforce their support of the products and services of Hometown Connections through the Indiana Municipal Electric Association

IMEA has teamed up with Hometown Connections (www.hometownconnections.com) as a Marketing Affiliate. As a marketing affiliate IMEA will advertise and promote the growing portfolio of Hometown Connections products and services to its membership. This marketing alliance will help community-owned electric utilities in Indiana select from the full suite of Hometown Connections' services, incorporating discounts for American Public Power Association (APPA) members. And with this alliance, Indiana becomes the first state in which Hometown Connections is represented by both a marketing affiliate (IMEA) and a sales affiliate (CEL&P).

A subsidiary of APPA, Hometown Connections secures national group pricing and service arrangements for public power utilities from leading industry suppliers.

Including IMEA, Hometown Connections employs a network of 12 public power marketing affiliates. In addition to CEL&P, IMEA joins the Alabama Municipal Electric Authority, American Municipal Power-Ohio, Energy Northwest, Florida Municipal Electric Association, Missouri Association of Municipal Utilities, Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma, the Illinois Municipal Utilities Association, Texas Public Power Association and Gila (Ariz.) Resources.

What Is APPA's Hometown Connections?
Hometown Connections is owned by the American Public Power Association, a national service organization representing the interests of the nation's public power entities - more than 2,000 in all. Launched in 1998, Hometown Connections supports APPA members by securing national group pricing and service arrangements from leading industry suppliers.

The Hometown Connections offerings are organized within three categories:

1. Business Planning Services, combining strategy consulting and assessments with market research capabilities;
2. Utility Operations Services, including generation development and billing and metering systems; and
