IMEA 610 Wood Pole Climbing Workshop (Class #060126)

The IMEA 610 Wood Pole Climbing Workshop provides training for utility personnel to develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary for employer designation as a qualified wood pole climber, in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations and industry-accepted utility safety practices.
Instruction includes classroom and hands-on field training covering wood pole characteristics and inspection, inspection and use of climbing equipment, safe wood pole climbing techniques, basic rope knots and splicing, handline use, crossarm installation, basic tool handling, and pole-top rescue procedures.
